Credit for Extended Studies
Courses numbered 100-399 earn degree and residence credit. While the university may accept this work toward baccalaureate and graduate degrees, it is a matter of individual department evaluation as to whether such work is accepted as applying toward the major or minor. A record of this work is maintained by the Registrar's Office. Transcripts are available once credit is posted.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Courses numbered 400-499 offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs), a nationally-recognized unit of measurement for a variety of noncredit programs applying toward licensure, promotion or career advancement. CEUs are not applicable to a degree nor to residence unit requirements. A record of this work is maintained by the College of International and Extended Studies.
